Ketosis is a specific, fully physiological bodily state in healthy individuals. There have always been two ways of inducing ketosis: either fasting or a diet heavy in fats and proteins. It is now also possible to implement a ketogenic diet with the use of Ketogenic foods.

1. Are Le Gamberi Foods nutritional products harmful to the kidneys?
A diet made up of Le Gamberi Foods products does not cause any kidney overload as it is not a high-protein diet, simply carb-free (less 2%).
2.Is it harmful to the metabolism?
Carb-free diets tend to improve the use of fats as fuel, thereby improving the metabolism. However, we recommend you periodically reintroduce products containing carbohydrates into your diet.
3.Could ketosis induced by this diet cause problems for me?
Ketosis (a state where there is an increase in production and use of ketone bodies) is a metabolic condition that is safe where no medical conditions are present.
4.Is it true that this kind of diet raises cholesterol?
No. All the latest scientific research shows that a ketogenic diet actually helps lower triglycerides and raise the HDL fraction (that is, the protective fraction) of cholesterol.
5. What are ketone bodies?
Ketone bodies are produced by our body to ensure an absence of carbohydrates does not prevent fats from being used in our normal metabolic pathways. Fats therefore follow alternative pathways that lead to the formation of these ketone bodies which are used by our body as an energy source.
